This project is following the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000) process for Group ‘B’ Projects.
A Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) (PDF/1.9mb ) was prepared in August 2005 and received approval in 2007. The report identified the recommended design for this section of Highway 401.
External agency and public consultation will take place throughout the project, including a Public Information Centre (PIC). The PIC will provide the public and interest groups with an opportunity to see design refinements, exchange information and ask questions of the Project Team. Notice of the PIC will be posted on the Upcoming Events page, published in local newspapers and sent to persons on the project mailing list. If you wish to be added to our mailing list or submit comments or questions, please go to the Contact Us section of this website.
A Design and Construction Report (DCR) will be prepared and made available for a 30-day public review. Notices for the review period will be posted on this website, published in local newspapers and sent to individuals on our project mailing list.
