  • In 2005, a Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) (PDF/1.9mb ) was completed which identified the recommended design for this section of Highway 401.  This report documented the planning process and outlined additional work to be completed during Detail Design to finalize the preferred design and develop mitigation measures.

  • January 30, 2014: Design and Construction Report (PDF/9mb) for the Highway 401/Mavis Road Interchange and New Ramps at the Highway 401/410/403 Interchange Detail Design (G.W.P. 2152-01-00 and G.W.P. 2150-01-00).

  • June 10, 2015: a Addendum Transportation Environmental Study Report (PDF/18mb) has been completed to document the changes and environmental impacts/mitigation to the 2005 TESR design to allow for a future extension of Belgrave Road from the existing cul-de-sac west of Suffolk Road westerly to the Highway 401 eastbound ramp at Mavis Road, a distance of approximately 200m. This extension will provide a future direct connection to Mavis Road and improve traffic service to commercial and industrial areas to the east.

  • September 8, 2015: Design and Construction Report for the Highway 401 widening from Highway 403/410 Interchange to the Credit River Detail Design (GWP 2150-01-00). This report has been prepared to document the details of the recommended detail design plan, the potential environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures.
